The Reserve Bank of India conducted Outreach Program on 20.03.2012 at Uttar Sishubari Village within service area of our Sishubarihat Village. The program remained a grand success. Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India, Smt Vijayalaxmi Iyer, Executive Director, Central Bank of India graced the programme amongst the dignitaries present.
FINANCIAL LITERACY CAMP
The Bank is organizing Financial Literacy Camps exclusively for making awareness among the villagers and included the excluded families of the identified villages. During the year 2010-11, the bank has organized 10 camps for Financial Literacy and 65 multipurpose camps as a part of Financial Literacy Campaigning.
The bank has taken initiative for engaging Farmers’ Clubs as Business Facilitators. The bank has opened the “Banking outlets” in three identified villages. All this three villages are now 100% financially included.
